March of Dimes Partners with Publix to Support Mothers

March of Dimes, the nonprofit organization focused on improving maternal and infant health, has partnered with the supermarket chain Publix for its annual in-store fundraising campaign, which runs from August 14 through August 21. As part of this initiative, March of Dimes and Publix invite customers to make donations at the register during checkout, with all contributions supporting programs such as NICU Family Support and maternal health education. The funds raised help advance research, advocacy, and direct services that aim to reduce preterm birth rates, improve pregnancy outcomes, and provide support for families with babies in neonatal intensive care units.

The campaign is particularly compelling because of the personal story shared by a Publix store manager whose own three children were born preterm and benefited from the research and care advances that March of Dimes has historically funded.
