Roger Vivier Has Unveiled L'Atelier Des Papillons

Roger Vivier's L'Atelier Des Papillons embodies the label's Fall 2026 Pièce Unique collection. Presented during Paris Haute Couture Week at the Maison Vivier, this launch expands the exclusive line to include footwear for the first time alongside precious handbags and embroidered gilets.

The L'Atelier Des Papillons drop is unified by the motif of the butterfly — a symbol that the founder, Monsieur Vivier, revisited throughout his career through various decorative techniques, and which creative director Gherardo Felloni has reinterpreted using exceptional artisanal methods such as intricate bead embroidery, hand-painted feathers, organza, macramé, sculpted metal, and crystal work. This approach allows the spirit of the archive to evolve, with each piece possessing its own distinct identity shaped by a dialogue between creativity and craftsmanship.

The iconic Choc pump, built around the revolutionary curved heel introduced in 1959 and recently reinterpreted for the ready-to-wear collection, becomes the foundation of the first Pièce Unique shoe collection. It is joined by the maison's inaugural couture sneaker, which adapts a sporty silhouette originally designed in 2018.
