HallPass is Launching to Challenge Chocolate Category Classics

HallPass is the newest venture from Peter Rahal, the founder of RXBAR and David Protein, and its products are coming to shelves soon to rival the chocolate category's big players with fun products at a fraction of the calories and the same prices as the classics. At Walmart, just in time for the start of a fresh school season and Halloween on the horizon, HallPass will introduce three single-serve items: Peanut Bups, Chocolatey Candy Pieces, and Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers. These low-sugar, calorie-conscious treats promise familiar tastes and textures, but with a better-for-you experience that doesn't expect customers to pay for the privilege.

Sweet treat culture is booming, but today's indulgence-seekers want their fix with confections that prove lower sugar or fewer calories doesn't have to mean "less delicious."
