Playmates Toys Taps Dungeon Crawler Carl for Inspiration

Playmates Toys has created a new line of collectibles under the fictional branding of the Borant Corporation, based on the popular LitRPG book series Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. This inaugural collection includes a range of products such as six-inch articulated figures under the banner 'Dungeon Crawler: World Earth Collectible Crawlers,' diorama-style World Earth Dungeon Highlight Statue scenes packaged as blind boxes, mystery 'loot boxes' containing small figures and accessories, the Princess Donut plush, and the World Earth Trading Cards.

The Dungeon Crawler Carl books constitute a science-fiction and fantasy series that follows a man and his cat as they are forced to navigate a deadly, gamified dungeon after Earth is destroyed for an intergalactic reality show. The first wave of products is scheduled for release in the summer and fall of 2026.
