Nautical-Inspired Timepiece Designs
Frederique Constant Boasts the Classics Runabout Automatic GMT
Frederique Constant has introduced the 2026 Classics Runabout Automatic GMT — a limited-edition timepiece that brings a Manufacture GMT complication to its nautical-inspired collection. This model is available in two 42-millimetre versions in deep blue and teak-brown, each restricted to 888 pieces.
Frederique Constant's 2026 Classics Runabout Automatic GMT builds upon the brand's longstanding partnership with the Riva Historical Society, which began in 2013, and features an in-house FC350 base movement with a GMT module. The design provides a dual-complication display that includes a date window at six o'clock and a luminescent-tipped GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. The dial design incorporates nautical elements such as a satin-finished surface with vertical stripes reminiscent of the teak foredecks of classic Riva boats, while three concentric circles organize the time display, with the innermost ring serving as a 24-hour GMT indicator that eliminates the need for a separate day-night aperture.
