Snoop Dogg Receives City Proclamation in Long Beach

Snoop Dogg received an official City Proclamation from Mayor Rex Richardson's office at the grand opening of S.W.E.D. Long Beach, his second cannabis dispensary in California and the first located in the city that raised the celebrity. Positioned as a luxury destination at 2115 East 10th Street, the grand opening of the retail space was noteworthy.

The debut of S.W.E.D. Long Beach brought a Snoop Dogg hologram, retro arcade games, two DJ booths, Snoop's personal lounge, and a display of his Hood Rich Lowrider as a tribute to early 1990s West Coast culture. The design of the store itself blends cutting-edge technology with street-inspired visuals and nods to the classic Snoop era.

The official City Proclamation added a layer of legitimacy and civic pride, signalling that this was not merely a commercial venture but a recognized homecoming for a local icon.
