State Anniversary-Celebrating Whiskey Campaigns

Stranahan's American Single Malt Whiskey — a Colorado-based pioneer in its category and the number-one and most-awarded American single malt — has launched Colorado 150: The Pioneers. This summer-long initiative celebrates the state's 150th anniversary by recognizing trailblazers across business, arts, conservation, hospitality, sports, and community leadership who have shaped the Centennial State's identity.

The Colorado 150: The Pioneers list includes modern-day originals such as Icelantic Skis co-founder Annelise Loevlie, muralist Thomas 'Detour' Evans, conservation leader Luis Benitez, Chicano theater pioneer Tony Garcia, and Oskar Blues Brewery founder Dale Katechis, alongside Stranahan's own founder Jess Graber, who established Colorado's first legal post-Prohibition distillery in 2004 and helped pioneer the American single malt category nearly two decades before its official federal recognition.

The Colorado 150: The Pioneers initiative is supported by a short film featuring Head Blender Justin Aden traveling across Colorado to meet honorees and explore how innovation, creativity, perseverance, and stewardship continue to define the state.
