Up Norway Introduces an Immersive 7-Day Cycling Journey

Up Norway has introduced a seven-day cycling journey through Western Norway, scheduled for May 22–28, 2027. Designed for intermediate to experienced cyclists, the itinerary features five stages through the Sunnmøre Alps, Norangsdalen valley, and Geiranger–Trollstigen National Scenic Route. Beginning and ending in Ålesund, the journey combines challenging climbs, fjord crossings, mountain lakes, and the historic 'Queen’s Route.'

Additionally, "participants can use Fara bicycles equipped with Di2 electronic gearing or bring their own bikes. Guided by outdoor experience provider Uteguiden, the tour includes a dedicated support vehicle carrying luggage, spare equipment, hydration, and nutritional supplies." Meanwhile, daily meals combine Nordic gastronomy with cyclists’ performance and recovery needs. Premium fjord-view accommodations provide comfortable bases after each stage.

Furthermore, late May offers green valleys, snow-covered peaks, extended daylight, and relatively quiet roads. By coordinating accommodations, meals, equipment, guiding, and logistics, Up Norway enables participants to focus on the region’s landscapes and cycling experience.
