Securikett Launches Its TraySeal Label Feature

Securikett introduced its TraySeal Label feature designed to replace conventional heat sealing for tray and cup packaging. The system uses a secure adhesive label rather than a welded lid and is designed for automated application through existing labeling or dispensing equipment.

The solution combines structured adhesive coatings, integrated VOID technology, precisely applied silicone coatings and custom die-cutting within a single label. Its tamper-evident VOID effect indicates when a package has been opened, while ventilation holes or viewing windows can also be incorporated directly into the label. Securikett says the approach is safer, faster and more cost-efficient than traditional heat-sealing processes.

For packaging producers, the system offers a way to add tamper evidence without relying on conventional heat sealing equipment. The design reflects growing interest in multifunctional labels that combine closure, security and packaging features in one component.
