Giant Hairball Stunts
The Tumblehair Promoted K18's New Hair Serum on the Streets of New York
In the age of AI, it's not always easy to trust that what's seen or heard online is actually real, and K18 certainly got social media users talking with The Tumblehair—a giant hairball that rolled down the streets of New York. Created to promote its FutureIQ Hair Longevity Serum, K18's The Tumblehair was, in fact, a real, large physical prop constructed to represent 161 billion strands of hair, or the specific amount of hair New Yorkers could collectively retain using the new hair longevity serum.
Over the weekend, The Tumblehair made its way through Midtown, the West Village, Chinatown and the Seaport, and it will stop at the Sephora Meatpacking location as part of K18's Hair Longevity Lab pop-up activation, which will offer complimentary scalp analyses, one-on-one consultations, a claw machine, and more.
