R.H. Boyd Debuts the Inaugural 'Stories by the Sea' Luncheon

R.H. Boyd, a historic Black-owned publishing and media company, has announced the inaugural 'Stories by the Sea' luncheon, which is scheduled to take place on August 11, 2026, at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown, Massachusetts, on Martha's Vineyard. This event is part of the company's broader journey toward commemorating 130 years of continuous operation.

The 'Stories by the Sea' conversation will feature notable voices including Marc H. Morial, Rev. Dr. Malcom J. Byrd, and Marla Frederick, PhD, with Dr. LaDonna Boyd acting as moderator, and is designed to examine how narratives rooted in spiritual traditions, personal experiences, and cultural heritage continue to influence contemporary communities and inspire forthcoming generations.

The event also serves a philanthropic purpose, offering attendees the chance to contribute tax-deductible donations to the R.H. Boyd Family Endowment Fund.
