Social Club 150 Offers In-Person Events to Connect Adults in Their 40s - 60s+
As social clubs and community groups flourish in major cities, largely catering to Gen Z and Millennials seeking connection, Social Club 150 emerged to address fundamental human needs for adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s+.
Social Club 150’s name gleans from research by Dr. Robin Dunbar, the British anthropologist who suggests that 150 is the optimal number for meaningful community engagement. True to this idea, these structured social experiences with facilitated conversations and themed discussions exist to help people be seen as individuals, share their voice, and help them feel a sense of belonging as a valued member of a community.
In April 2026, a new chapter launches in Toronto's West End, and upcoming events include The Ultimate Life Hack Exchange, and a talk with a TEDx speaker and podcast host.
