The Rockstar Energy Open Is Returning to Portland

Rockstar Energy Open 2026 returns to downtown Portland from August 14–16, pairing world-class Street and Park skateboarding competitions with two nights of free waterfront concerts headlined by Basement and Hot Mulligan, with opening acts PUP and Angel Du$t. Now in its third year, the free public festival brings together more than 50 top skateboarders, including Rockstar athletes Keegan Palmer and Chris Joslin, alongside Olympic medalists Tom Schaar and Sky Brown.

Friday's lineup opens with Toronto punk band PUP, followed by Hot Mulligan, while Saturday features Baltimore hardcore act Angel Du$t ahead of UK rock band Basement's headlining set.

Rockstar Energy Open shows how pairing skateboarding with genre-spanning live music can create a festival experience that resonates with youth culture beyond the competition itself.
