Pinterest and Amazon Partnered for Frictionless Retail

Pinterest and Amazon have announced a new partnership that will see creators able to connect their account directly to an Amazon Storefront to support frictionless eCommerce experiences across platforms.

The new tool will, once connected, automatically pair Amazon eligible products with an affiliate link without the need for any additional steps or copy and pasting. This will enable creators to achieve more seamless conversions, while also helping Amazon to connect directly with Pinterest users. Creators will also be able to feature their Amazon Storefront more prominently on their Pinterest profile to offer a wider categorization of what they recommend.

The Pinterest and Amazon partnership is reportedly the first of a growing Amazon Storefront linking initiative by the eCommerce brand that will include additional partners in the near-future.
