Intelstock Engineering Completes the Traeckaya 25 Project

Intelstock Engineering, an architectural studio based in Grodno, has completed Traeckaya 25, a modern brick building designed on a compact 180-square-meter plot within the city's historic center. The project is noted for successfully integrating contemporary architecture into the surrounding urban fabric.

Traeckaya 25's design concept draws inspiration from the area's historic brick architecture but reinterprets it in a modern style. Intelstock Engineering used hand-moulded brick made from natural mineral raw materials as the primary construction material to sculpt the façade's plasticity and create a dynamic surface that changes with varying lighting conditions. A defining feature of the modern brick building is its response to a mature tree located within the construction boundaries, which directly influenced the structure's silhouette. The tree required a corner volume to be carved away, which resulted in expansive corner windows that flood the interior with light and a distinctive ripple effect across the brickwork where protrusions and recesses vary from 20 to 80 millimetres.
