K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Opened Its New Boarding Location

K9 Resorts Luxury Hotel has announced the opening of its newest K9 Resorts location this fall in Sterling, Virginia, marking the brand's 53rd resort and its second in Virginia, following the Virginia Beach location. The 7,000-square-foot facility includes nearly 3,000 square feet of outdoor play areas and accommodates more than 100 dogs for daily boarding and daycare, with hospital-grade ventilation, antimicrobial flooring, and sound-reducing walls.

The location represents Luxury Pet Hotel Investments' 20th operated resort, making it the largest K9 Resorts franchisee by location count. It is backed by a $2.1M investment and 18 local subcontractors. The hotel is offering pre-opening specials, including 25% off boarding packages and a limited-time 'Founders Pack' membership offering unlimited daycare and boarding packages, starting at $49 for the first month.

As the U.S. pet care sector surpasses $158B, with roughly seven in ten households owning a pet, K9 Resorts continues its expansion and shows that premium, hospitality-grade pet care is becoming a durable growth category rather than a niche luxury service.
