Kith and BMW Unveil One-Off X5 Models Spanning Two Generations

The Kith for BMW collaboration introduces two bespoke X5 vehicles that connect the nameplate's heritage with its future. The first is a fully restored 2000 BMW X5 E53 finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and extensively re-engineered with a 5.0-litre S85 V10 engine, six-speed manual transmission, BMW M Sport brakes, recalibrated suspension and a custom exhaust system while retaining all-wheel drive. Inside, the cabin features black leather upholstery embossed with Kith monograms and collaborative branding integrated into the instrument cluster, reflecting Ronnie Fieg's reinterpretation of BMW's first Sports Activity Vehicle.

The second build previews the fifth-generation 2027 BMW X5 with a minimalist exterior characterised by flush body surfaces, concealed door handles, double-X headlights and an illuminated kidney grille. Powered by an updated B58 inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, the concept wears an exclusive Frozen Titanium Silver finish. The interior continues the collaboration with monogram-embossed leather, K&K Crest embroidery, BMW M Carbon Sport seats and a panoramic glass roof.
