Cinematic Film-Anchored Footwear Platforms
Foot Locker Debuts 'It Always Will Be Foot Locker'
Foot Locker, a prominent global footwear and apparel retailer, has introduced a new brand platform called 'It Always Will Be Foot Locker,' which is anchored by a two-minute cinematic film narrated by Method Man. Tis campaign was created in partnership with the agency Someplace and serves as a tribute to the company's five-decade history at the heart of sneaker and basketball culture while simultaneously looking toward the future of that community.
The 'It Always Will Be Foot Locker' campaign film showcases a chronological journey through significant footwear milestones, including the debut of the original Air Jordan 1 in 1985, the enduring appeal of the adidas Stan Smith, the resurgence of the Converse Weapon, the consistent popularity of New Balance grey silhouettes, and the cultural permanence of the Nike Air Force 1, all tied together by the recurring presence of the Foot Locker Striper as a symbol of the brand's consistent role in connecting enthusiasts with the products and communities that define the culture.
This launch is complemented by a documentary series titled Sole Stories, produced in collaboration with Hartbeat.
