Moment Factory's Aura Installations an Highly Impressive

Global entertainment studio Moment Factory has developed AURA — a series of permanent, site-specific immersive multimedia experiences that transform iconic cultural venues into must-visit destinations by orchestrating projection mapping, lighting, and original orchestral scores to reveal the architectural wonders and layered histories of heritage sites. Earlier this year, the studio hosted installations currently at Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica, Paris's Dôme des Invalides, San Francisco's Grace Cathedral, and Quebec City's Saint-Roch Church.

The nighttime immersive multimedia experiences accentuate architectural details often overlooked in daylight — from the curvature of vaulted ceilings to the texture of stone columns — through precise pixel-by-pixel projection mapping. An accompanying musical score flows in sync with the visuals to create an emotional expression of each site's spirit of place.

The introduction of voice-overs and companion web applications offer real-time translation and supplementary historical context.
