Genetic Insight IVF Partnerships
Nucleus Genomics Partners with the Fertility Institute of Hawaii
Nucleus Genomics has established an IVF+ partnership with the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, Hawaii's largest IVF practice. This venture brings advanced carrier screening and embryo analysis to patients in the state and to international clients who travel from Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and New Zealand for fertility care.
Thanks to the collaboration between Nucleus Genomics and the Fertility Institute of Hawaii, patients undergoing in vitro fertilization can obtain deeper genetic insights into their embryos, including risk assessments for conditions such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, endometriosis, type 1 diabetes, breast cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. Nucleus Genomics’ services — Preview and Embryo — screen for more than 2,000 genetic conditions and traits. The company’s statistics show decreases of nearly 32% for endometriosis, 67% for type 1 diabetes, 42% for breast cancer, 35% for heart disease, and 55% for Alzheimer’s disease.
The growing demand for such services, reflected in Nucleus's waitlist of over 3,000 patients and its rapid expansion of clinic partnerships across multiple states and countries, indicates a broader cultural shift toward precision medicine and personalized reproductive care.
