Free Educational Jewelry-Making Programs
InBloom Jewelry Marks the First Anniversary of FACETED
InBloom Jewelry is commemorating the first anniversary of its FACETED seminar series — a free, bimonthly educational jewelry-making program held at its Downtown Frederick gallery.
FACETED brings together clients, local artists, and community members to explore the intricate processes behind fine jewelry making through expert-led talks and live demonstrations. The series has covered a diverse range of topics over the past year, including ancient granulation, precision gemstone cutting, Japanese Mokume-Gane, creative repurposing of heirloom pieces, lost wax casting, and historical chainmaking techniques. As such, InBloom Jewelry's FACETED series has effectively showcased both traditional handcraft and modern digital tools used in the studio.
