Black Tiger Distilleries Launches Its Bodega Suprema No. 5 Line
Black Tiger Distilleries introduced Bodega Suprema No. 5, a 100% Blue Weber agave Tequila range produced in Mexico specifically for the Indian market. Developed with Productos Finos de Agave in Jesús María, Jalisco, and launched with distributor Mansha Group, the range includes 38% ABV Blanco, Reposado and Añejo expressions.
The Blanco is priced at INR 4,200, while the Reposado and Añejo cost INR 4,500 and INR 5,500 respectively for 750ml bottles. Both aged expressions use ex-Tennessee whiskey American oak barrels, with the Reposado matured for two months and the Añejo for 12 months. The brand’s visual identity draws on Mexican modernist art and cultural exchange with India rather than stereotypical imagery.
The launch reflects growing Tequila demand in India and rising interest in authentic, well-crafted spirits positioned at more accessible price points.
