Digital Personality Alarm Clocks

The Alarm O’clock from The Real Objects is Playful

The Alarm O’clock has been designed by the Milan-based design studio The Real Objects as an updated take on the humble bedside accessory that aims to transform capabilities for the user.

The alarm clock is characterized by its cubic, industrial profile that is engineered with a series of personality quirks to help make the process of getting woken up in the morning a little less jarring. The alarm clock is intended to offer consumers an alternative to using their smartphone as an alarm, which will prevent them from reaching for the device immediately upon waking up to break the habit of morning scrolling.

The Alarm O’clock aims to revive the bedside clock and bring it into the modern era as consumers seek out a way to kick their smartphone use habits.
