Minimal Phone 2 Combines Android with a Physical Qwerty Keyboard

The Minimal Phone 2 pairs a 3.92-inch AMOLED display with a full backlit QWERTY keyboard, creating a compact Android smartphone focused on text-based interaction and streamlined navigation. Laser-etched sculpted keycaps are arranged to improve thumb positioning, while Minimal OS introduces a command bar that performs tasks such as messaging, calling, note-taking and calendar scheduling through keyboard shortcuts. The software also includes the Minimal Hub, which consolidates emails, messages, missed calls, voicemails and calendar invitations into a single interface, alongside an Activity Bar that visualizes daily screen habits and a customizable notification LED.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Hardware specifications include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, a 50 MP rear camera, a 20 MP front camera, 27 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
