The Instant Disc Audio Cp1 Recreates the Death Stranding 2 BB Pod

The Instant Disc Audio Cp1 is a limited-edition CD player created by Kojima Productions and Japanese audio brand km5, drawing its design from the BB Pod featured in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. A translucent orange housing exposes the spinning disc and internal components, referencing the capsule-like appearance of the in-game device. Based on km5's existing Cp1 platform, the portable player supports standard and mini CDs, incorporates a Nixie tube-style LED display, and connects wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.3 for headphone or speaker pairing.

The rechargeable player delivers approximately seven to eight hours of battery life while maintaining a compact form without integrated speakers. Custom packaging incorporates mechanical graphics and caution markings inspired by the game, and each unit includes exclusive collectible postcards featuring scenes from Death Stranding 2.
