California Credit Union Delivers a Substantial Donation

California Credit Union, a federally chartered financial institution with assets approaching $5.4 billion and over 200,000 members, has delivered a substantial donation of backpacks, filled supply pouches, and thousands of classroom essentials to the Southeast-Rio Vista YMCA as part of its participation in NBC4 and Telemundo 52's annual Supporting Our Schools / Apoyando a Nuestras Escuelas campaign.

To achieve this, California Credit Union collected supplies during a month-long campaign held at the credit union's branches in Los Angeles and Orange counties and is now entering its fourth year of partnership with the television stations. The donations will be distributed to local students and families served by the YMCA, helping ensure that hundreds of children in the region have the necessary materials to begin the academic year with confidence.
