Alpha Fit Club Taps PLAE to Enhance Its Operations

Alpha Fit Club — a premium strength and conditioning franchise that currently operates 20 studios and expects to have nearly 30 locations open by the end of 2026 with another wave of openings planned for 2027 — has announced an exclusive partnership with PLAE, a manufacturer of integrated performance training environments trusted by professional sports organizations, collegiate athletic programs, Olympic training centers, and tactical facilities. The goal of this venture is to create a standardized premium training environment across Alpha Fit Club's future franchise locations.

The partnership, which will debut at the brand's Larchmont, New York location before rolling out to subsequent openings, goes beyond a traditional equipment supplier relationship by establishing a consistent performance environment that includes flooring, racks, and integrated strength and conditioning systems designed to support both members and franchise owners.

Cannabis-Focused Lifestyle Brand Takeovers

SunMed Growers, a Maryland-based cannabis cultivator with three generations of greenhouse farming heritage, has announced a partnership with the lifestyle brand Old Pal to relaunch the latter's product line in the state through a licensing, manufacturing, and distribution agreement. This collaboration brings Old Pal's portfolio, which includes whole flower, two-pack pre-rolls, and the original 'Ready to Roll' ground cannabis kits available in sativa, indica, and hybrid varieties, back to Maryland after the brand had previously established a following during the state's medical-only market phase.
