Gusbourne Launches Its Airbourne Reserve 2021 For British Airways

Gusbourne released Airbourne Reserve 2021, a bespoke English sparkling wine created exclusively for British Airways Club World. The Pinot Noir-dominant cuvée was developed specifically for in-flight service and features packaging inspired by British aviation heritage, including an Airforce Blue label and details referencing Royal Air Force uniforms and the RAF roundel.

Selected by Tim Jackson MW, the wine is described as richer, rounder and more textural than many English sparkling expressions, helping it retain its character when served at altitude. Airbourne Reserve entered service in July 2026 and joins Gusbourne wines already offered in British Airways First and Club World cabins.

For premium travellers, the limited cuvée provides an introduction to English sparkling wine through an elevated onboard experience. The launch also supports Gusbourne’s expansion into more than 40 export markets, reflecting the growing use of airline and travel retail partnerships to build international awareness for regional wine categories.
