X-Dome Pro 1+ is a Freestanding Double-Wall Tent Built for Low Weight

X-Dome Pro 1+ weighs 780 grams while retaining a freestanding double-wall structure designed to withstand winds above 100 km/h. Its fly uses DCF 0.55 and its floor uses DCF 0.67, with bonded seams replacing conventional seam taping. A second-generation Easton carbon frame uses carbon inserts at the joints, while integrated trekking poles brace the sidewalls against lateral movement. The tent retains a 23.5-square-foot floor, 42-inch peak height, 90-inch diagonal sleeping length, and 9.2-square-foot vestibule, with enough width for two narrow sleeping pads.

The shelter pitches fly-first and includes dual peak vents, magnetic door toggles, and a packed size of 19 by 4.5 inches. Its lightweight construction maintains the protection and stability of a conventional freestanding shelter without moving to a single-wall design. The X-Dome Pro 1+ launched at $849 to $879, with the initial production run selling out within minutes. A larger release is planned for fall.
