In-Store Asl Interpretation Services
Spectrum Implements Virtual American Sign Language Services
Spectrum has introduced an in-store virtual American Sign Language interpretation service, now available in nearly 100 retail locations across 38 markets. This move represents a significant advancement in customer service accessibility for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Spectrum's in-store virtual American Sign Language interpretation service enables customers to simply scan a QR code with their mobile device upon entering a participating store and to instantly be connected via live video to a qualified ASL interpreter who facilitates real-time, three-way communication between the customer and the Spectrum store specialist.
All in all, Spectrum's in-store virtual American Sign Language interpretation service effectively eliminates the need for cumbersome and often inadequate alternatives. Beyond the immediate convenience and dignity this service provides, it is part of a broader corporate philosophy that prioritizes accessibility as a fundamental aspect of customer care. The rollout is being led by Spectrum's Accessibility Center of Excellence.
