The VANDYTHEPINK x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 transforms the technical running silhouette with dessert-inspired materials and detailing drawn from Korean ice cream treats. Built on the hybrid GEL-KAYANO 12.1 platform, the sneaker pairs waffle-textured open mesh underlays with synthetic leather overlays and metallic silver accents that reference an ice cream scoop. Signature flower branding appears on the heel, while custom sockliners feature illustrated frozen dessert graphics. The collaboration is offered in Vanilla and Chocolate colorways, with the latter released exclusively through VANDYTHEPINK.

The hybrid model combines the original GEL-KAYANO 12 upper with the cushioned sole unit from the GEL-NIMBUS 17, incorporating dual GEL technology inserts and FLUIDRIDE cushioning. Multiple lace options and custom packaging extend the dessert theme across the release, while Korean lettering appears on the tongue as a collaborative detail.
