A TikTok Mac and Cheese Recipe is Sweeping the Platform

A new viral recipe being simply referred to as the TikTok Mac and Cheese is gaining popularity across various social media platforms, namely TikTok and Instagram. This recipe includes a few variations, with countless creators launching and showcasing their own take on the recipe.

The standard recipe, though, includes elbow macaroni, roux, salted butter, garlic, flour, half and half cream, shredded cheddar, mild diced cheddar, and various seasonings. This recipe is prepared uniquely by boiling elbow macaroni until it is al dente, then preparing a cheese mixture out of salted butter, garlic, flour, half and half, and shredded cheddar cheese. The pasta is then placed in a pan or skillet, then the cheese mixture is poured on top alongside any preferred seasonings. The final dish is then baked in an oven and stirred, resulting in a baked, cheesy, crunchy, and flavorful pasta.
