The Suunto Core 2 timepiece has been developed as an adventurous accessory that offers a smartwatch alternative that will still provide essential functions for those heading for the great outdoors. The timepiece embraces a simpler design that includes a monochromatic LED screen with physical buttons and a rugged design, holds a battery inside rated for 15-months of use that can be replaced by the user. The watch boasts a series of essential sensors including an altimeter, barometer and compass to track altitude, ascent, descent, atmospheric pressure and offline directional guidance.

The Suunto Core 2 timepiece offers a 40% brighter display over the previous model and is paired with Corning Gorilla Glass for enhanced protection from damage.
