Electroninks And SIIX Corporation Has Partnered on EMI Coating

Electroninks, an Austin-based maker of conductive inks for 3D-printed electronics, expanded its presence in Japan by partnering with SIIX Corporation to deliver EMI shielding solutions featuring ultrasonic spray coating capabilities. The collaboration was introduced as a way to pair Electroninks’ material formulations with SIIX’s specialized spray environment for more adaptable enclosure coverage.

The partners said they would distribute Electroninks’ materials in Japan and jointly prototype conformal shielding approaches that move beyond rigid, one-size-fits-all housings. Efforts will target industry-specific use cases, with automotive electronics named as an early focus, and workflows will scale from bespoke prototypes to higher-volume production.

For manufacturers and OEMs this means faster, tailored EMI solutions that can follow product-specific form factors and denser, higher-frequency electronics trends. By combining conductive inks, ultrasonic coating, and EMS scale, the tie-up reflects a broader move toward customer-driven, scalable shielding methods in advanced electronics production.
