Created by Harlo Entertainment, the restaurant sources select beef directly from producers in Himeji and Kobe, complemented by premium seafood and ingredient-focused preparations. Led by Executive Chef and Partner Jia Zou, the culinary program reflects his experience across several Toronto restaurants. The menu includes "Wagyu Sukiyaki, Surf & Turf, poached Alaskan king crab with caviar, Wagyu Kamameshi and Osaka Shrimp Noodles. Additionally, a curated nigiri and sashimi program features o-toro, chutoro, botan ebi, madai and hamachi."
Additional Japanese influences extend to custom tableware, imported uniforms and structured service rituals. Meanwhile, the beverage program incorporates Japanese whisky highballs, cocktails, sake and an extensive wine selection, including large-format bottles. Overall, Shinji is designed for business gatherings, celebrations and shared dining occasions in a contemporary setting.
