AI-Powered Sales Tools

Sysco rolled out an AI-driven selling tool designed to improve sales effectiveness and employee productivity as part of a broader business process modernization effort. The company highlighted AI360, a selling tool that supports sales colleagues with more data-driven customer engagement and recommendations.

Sysco is also applying AI across inventory management, forecasting, coding, routing optimization and back-office automation. The company reported Q4 fiscal 2026 sales of $22.1 billion and said its AI selling tools contributed to stronger customer penetration, new customer wins and improved retention. Looking ahead, Sysco expects AI-supported initiatives to help generate approximately $100 million in efficiency gains during fiscal 2027.

For customers such as schools, hospitals and other foodservice operators, the technology could support more accurate recommendations, faster service and more efficient replenishment. The rollout reflects growing distributor investment in AI to improve margins and scale operations without proportional labor growth.

Sleep-Focused Direct-To-Consumer Platforms

ReDream Brands, a newly launched consumer sleep health platform, has been introduced by Cathay Capital as a unified direct-to-consumer offering for the cash-pay obstructive sleep apnea market across North America. This move consolidates four established names — cpam.com, The CPAP Shop, Lofta, and sleeping.com — into a single operational framework while allowing each to retain its individual market identity and customer relationships.
