Olive Tree People Gears Up to Open Its New Store

Olive Tree People, a company positioned at the forefront of the Waterless Beauty movement, is preparing to open its first U.S. flagship store on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles on August 27, with a ceremonial inauguration conducted not by a celebrity or executive but by the live frequency of a 150-year-old olive tree still rooted in Spain. The event will be transmitted in real time across the Atlantic.

Olive Tree People's physical space is designed to embody the brand’s origin story, incorporating approximately 45,000 pounds of soil from both Spain and Los Angeles, compressed using ancient rammed-earth construction techniques, along with sculptural olive-tree forms that serve as shelving and a future Olive re:connect Frequency Room dedicated to exploring live tree frequencies and sound-based nature connection.
