Onalabs Scales Its Continuous Health Technology

Onalabs —  Barcelona-based deep-tech company specializing in continuous, non-invasive health monitoring solutions — has successfully closed a funding round exceeding €9.3 million, with participation from the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation, 1921 Ventures, nPrime, Reig Patrimonia, WA4STEAM, and other strategic investors. This move signals strong confidence in the company's proprietary sweat-based biosensing technology.

This substantial capital injection will be directed toward accelerating the industrialization and market expansion of ONASPORT — the company's commercially available sports performance monitor that tracks biomarkers including lactate, dehydration, electrolyte loss, and sodium levels. The funding will also advance the clinical validation and regulatory approval of ONAVITAL, a healthcare-focused device that continuously measures blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and body temperature.

The company's ongoing pilot programs with more than ten hospitals and its strengthened collaboration with FC Barcelona and Garmin demonstrate real-world validation and integration with established sports and health ecosystems.
