Nike Air Rift Mesh Update the Silhouette with a Lightweight Mesh

Nike has introduced a mesh-based version of the Air Rift Women’s Shoes in a Black/White/Black colorway, retaining the model’s signature split-toe construction while improving ventilation and reducing weight. The design combines a breathable mesh upper with hook-and-loop fastening straps that allow for easy adjustment and entry. The update focuses on material refinement rather than altering the silhouette that has defined the Air Rift since its introduction. The monochromatic palette emphasizes the shoe’s distinctive form rather than relying on bold color blocking.

Performance features include a foam midsole with integrated Nike Air cushioning and a rubber outsole with rugged tread for grip and durability. Originally developed during the 1990s with inspiration drawn from Kenyan distance runners and traditional running sandals, the Air Rift separated the big toe from the forefoot to create a unique fit and running experience
