Mary Dowling Promotes Its Mother of Bourbon Novel

The Mary Dowling Whiskey Company is launching a multi-city literary tour to promote its new historical fiction novel, titled 'Mother of Bourbon.' The publication chronicles the untold story of pioneering female distiller Mary Dowling.

The literary tour, which will visit Louisville, Chicago, and Detroit, is hosted by co-author and company founder Kaveh Zamanian. The experience will combine bourbon tastings with storytelling, aligning closer with the values and flagship product of the Mary Dowling Whiskey Company. Guests will have the opportunity to sample the brand's three award-winning whiskeys — Winter Wheat, Tequila Barrel, and Double Oak — while hearing excerpts from the book that highlight Dowling’s defiance of Prohibition and gender norms. Each event includes a signed copy of the novel, dynamic visuals, and discussions on bourbon craftsmanship and legacy.
