Located in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, La Casa de la Playa is an adults-only boutique luxury hotel offering an exclusive monthly event titled 'Full Moon Night.' Designed to merge culinary artistry, ancestral Mayan tradition, and spiritual renewal, each evening provides guests with an immersive cultural experience.

The event begins with "a purification ceremony on the beach led by a shaman, honoring the Mayan goddess Ixchel and the lunar cycle." Guests then take part in intention setting beneath the full moon, followed by a ritual cleansing with copal smoke to "rejuvenate body and spirit." The night culminates in a six-course tasting menu by acclaimed chef Martha Ortiz, featuring dishes inspired by lunar phases and paired with fine Mexican wines.

The event’s meditative atmosphere and attention to sensory detail encourage quiet introspection while celebrating the enduring connection between the celestial and the earthly. Upcoming Full Moon Nights are scheduled for November 7 and December 5.
