Gibson Garage London Hosts The Kinks: Brothers Exhibit

The Kinks: Brothers is a summer 2026 art exhibition taking place at the Gibson Garage London. This event will run from July 24th to September 6th.

The Kinks: Brothers unites the legendary band’s founding members, Ray and Dave Davies, with contemporary painter Christian Furr. This collaboration is both a display of music memorabilia and a genuine artistic fusion, where Furr has created a series of original paintings based on a 1968 passport photobooth picture of the brothers. The project took an emotional turn when Dave Davies saw the finished works, reportedly moved to tears, and began physically adding his own brushstrokes to the canvases.

As a venue, the Gibson Garage London serves as the UK home of the iconic guitar brand that was instrumental in shaping The Kinks’ revolutionary sound.
