URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR Publishes Dream in Progress

URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR recently published Dream in Progress —  a book that presents 16 hotels and holiday homes across Europe. The narrative of this publication does not place the strongest emphasis on the polished end result, but instead focuses on the stories of transformation.

URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR’s Dream in Progress features projects ranging from a former fish factory turned cultural landmark on Norway's Lofoten Islands to a Tuscan retreat and a music-driven hotel on La Palma founded by a former Universal Music chairman.

The Dream in Progress book itself is designed as a layered, tactile journey. URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR produced it in collaboration with artist Jana Gunstheimer, whose limited edition screen print appears on eight different embossed and screen-printed cover versions. All in all, this publication celebrates color over restraint and process over perfection, showing buildings that evolved through courage, intuition, and creative trust, former farmhouses, industrial structures, and overlooked buildings that have become vibrant retreats.
