OpenAI’s ChatGPT Integrations Orchestrate Tasks Across Everyday Apps

OpenAI’s latest ChatGPT integrations introduced popular consumer apps, turning the chatbot into a central hub for digital tasks. Users in the United States and Canada can now securely link services like Spotify, DoorDash, Uber, Canva, Target, and more, then have ChatGPT act on their behalf. The key differentiator is that natural language prompts replace multi-step app hopping, while each partner app still controls checkout and final actions.

Once connected through the Apps and Connectors settings, ChatGPT can assemble grocery carts via DoorDash, line up Uber and Uber Eats options for a trip, or generate Canva and Figma layouts from plain-English briefs. Travelers can compare stays through Booking.com or Expedia, learners can surface relevant Coursera courses, and home hunters can filter Zillow listings using conversational queries instead of complex menus. Spotify integrations let users quickly spin up mood-based playlists and get algorithmic recommendations without leaving the chat interface.
