A&W is Asking Fans to Declare Loyalty to Its New Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Seven years after a viral tweet started the chicken sandwich wars, a Crispy Chicken Sandwich has officially landed on A&W's menu, and the QSR is now asking fans to declare their allegiance to it in the comment section of its rivals' Instagram pages. To make it as easy as possible for people to swear off all other chicken sandwiches, A&W created a copy-and-paste message stating a preference for the "new, far superior chicken sandwich," and calling others to take the pledge too. To reward social media users who publicly declare their loyalty to the A&W Crispy Chicken Sandwich, A&W is providing the chance for loyal participants to win a free A&W cooler, and potentially see their Instagram handle "enshrined in the A&W Hall of Heroes."
