The Pray.com App for Faith Organizations Helps Communities Connect

This app for faith organizations recently raised $2 million in seed funding. Startup Pray.com is an interfaith smartphone app that enables faith leaders to connect with their congregations. The community-building platform enables leaders to post inspirational content, call for prayer, manage group communications and more.

The church and other religious institutions of different faiths already use a variety of tech-savvy methods to reach out to their communities, from social media to live streams and beyond. This app for faith focuses especially on communication, such as small group chats, community prayer and broadcasts. Currently in beta, the new venture is a central mobile platform specifically designed for religious organizations and serving the faith community, regardless of the faith.
