The improvements undertaken by publicly owned train operators are diverse, practical, and in alignment with the Accessibility Roadmap vision. They include the deployment of advanced digital wayfinding applications that provide audio and haptic guidance within stations, the integration of assistance booking directly into ticket purchasing platforms, and the installation of new facilities such as fully accessible Changing Places toilets.

Further measures encompass the rollout of clearer onboard signage with Braille, the establishment of dedicated support teams for travelers requiring aid, and significant infrastructure investments like adding lifts and creating step-free access at various stations.
